We had a pretty fun Valentine's Day weekend...it wasn't the most romantic of Valentine's days...I mean, some people may find "World Of Wheels" romantic...me, not so much. So we got one heck of a snowfall here in Indy. I knew they were calling for 4-6 inches and Indianapolis ended up getting almost a foot!! Jake was like a little kid when he came in the bedroom this morning and told me that work had canceled. He came back to bed and we slept in, it was so nice. So Connor now has a new BFF and it is my friend Kendra. Kendra had been living in Los Angeles and just recently moved back to Illinois. Saturday night Jake and I had our parent's night out and it was a lot of fun. For dinner, we went to our FAVORITE place to eat here in Indy called Yat's. They have the best cajun food ever! I made the mistake of leaving my bowl of oatmeal (which was pretty much gone) on the end table while I ran in the room to grab Connor's clothes the other morning. You can just tell that he is in his glory here, he is so proud of himself! Needless to say, he went straight from the highchair to the bath after this meal! So we have this really nice walking trail in Franklin that Connor and I like to frequent, especially since daddy has been working so late lately. It gives us something to do, it's good exercise, and the park at the end is a treat for the little man. Well, off of the path there is this old baseball field so we took the opportunity to go over there and snap a few pics! Boy did he love the dirt,

So, as many of you know, Jake and I (and always will be) Chicago Bears fans. Our first year here we had to deal with the Super Bowl loss at every corner. I was working downtown at the time and was stuck in traffic, I don't know how many times, due to Colt's rallies, parades, player's appearances, etc. While this pleased my co-workers, it did nothing but annoy the heck out of me.
